[Background]
The Japanese government is promoting the adoption of electric vehicles as part of its efforts to achieve "carbon neutrality by 2050." In the future, the spread of not only automobiles but also various types of electric mobility, including forklifts, construction machinery, and ships, is expected.

Ultra-compact electric mobility, which combines high environmental performance with ease of operation, is anticipated to become a new mode of transportation in local communities.

Mizuho Leasing has set its vision as a "creator of a sustainable society" and aims to evolve into a multi-solution platform provider that goes beyond financial services to solve social and business challenges faced by its customers through collaborative value creation.

[Mizuho Leasing's Initiatives]
Mizuho Leasing aims to build a "mobility service platform for solving regional issues" that addresses challenges such as regional transportation infrastructure and environmental conservation, promoting sustainable regional development.

Examples of regional issues:

Promotion of decarbonization at the regional level
Rising vehicle ownership costs, including vehicle prices and fuel expenses
