CEO Comment

“We are very pleased to take this major step toward expansion in the Japanese market. After nearly 20 years of pursuing ‘urban compact mobility’ since my time at Toyota, we have finally reached the point where we can deliver this vision to people in Japan.
Lean3 is not simply a small vehicle. With our proprietary active lean technology, it achieves comfortable, stable, and exhilarating driving performance despite its compact size.
I am confident that Lean3 will offer a completely new option for everyday urban transportation, such as commuting and shopping.
Through our partnership with Autobacs Seven, we have established a system that allows customers to use our products with peace of mind. The store network and service expertise of Japan’s largest automotive accessories chain are an extremely important partnership for the widespread adoption of this new product category.
In addition, our collaboration with Toyota City, our hometown, is a highly important initiative in bringing our vision into real-world implementation.
Under the philosophy of ‘Drive Lean, Live Life,’ we aim to demonstrate to the world, starting from Japan, how efficient and waste-free mobility can lead to richer lives.”
